Training Applications
Axis·70 is built for loaded band training where grip comfort and stability determine how much productive work you can actually do.
As tension increases, thin bars concentrate pressure into the hands and introduce rotation. Grip becomes the limiter before the target muscle. Volume drops. Reps degrade.
Axis·70 changes that by widening the grip surface and increasing rotational stability. Force is distributed across the hand instead of biting into it. The bar stays settled as resistance increases. More of the load reaches the muscle you are training.
Movements that benefit most
Rows
Bent over rows, wide grip rows, narrow grip rows, high rep tempo rows. This is where the difference is immediate.
Presses
Standing presses, overhead presses, close grip presses. The wider grip reduces hand fatigue during longer sets.
Hinges
Romanian deadlifts, deadlifts, good mornings. Added mass and diameter keep the bar path controlled as tension ramps.
Squats
Front loaded squats, zercher squats, split squats. Stable hand positioning allows cleaner reps under fatigue.
Arms and shoulders
Curls, front raises, upright row variations, partials at peak contraction. Grip stops being the bottleneck.
Why this matters for hypertrophy
Hypertrophy depends on repeatable mechanical tension applied over meaningful volume.
Axis·70 improves the interface between your hands and the load. Pressure is spread. Rotation is reduced. Stabilization demands drop.
The result is not a new exercise.
It is the ability to perform more quality reps before grip gives out.
